Grooved XPS tile backer board has extruded polystyrene foam core. Both sides are coated with a polymer-modified cement coating and reinforced with glass fiber.

XPS Tile backer board dramatically improves the effectiveness of under tile heating systems. And it is also a highly efficient thermal insulator and vapour barrier.
